Sometimes a modification is going to be required from a creditor in order for that one to take in an IVA. This comes from how a creditor might not feel comfortable with handling a CCS process through a first proposal. A creditor may ask to work with modifications that relate to the monthly payments that would be used or any other special terms in the IVA. This is used to see that the agreement is something that a creditor is going to be more likely to agree upon for that creditor’s debt collection needs.
